Her weight is up! She weighs about 11 pounds now. She is still sleeping good at night, last night she slept 9 1/2 hours straight! Wonderful! Normally we get about 6-7 hours but she isn't napping during the day so I guess she was exhausted last night. She has started rubbing her eyes when she is sleepy, it is so cute!!! I got a picture of it above. She fussed all through church today so finally I got Jarom from priesthood and we left early. She fell asleep in the car and has been asleep in her car seat for the last hour. Yay! Break for me!
Other than my sweet little girl's tummy troubles, not too much went on last week. Katie went on two of the walks with me and Mom. Mom and I have been trying to go walk every day and usually walk about 4 miles. I am determined to be a hot mamma by summer! Jarom has been working a ton, they are opening a new store 5 minutes from our house that we will work at (yay!) and so they have been over there most evenings working on getting it ready to open. So me and Addie just hang out together in the evenings.
We have been doing a lot of shopping which I am now done with because I needed some clothes for work and I got Addie a few things on clearance for next year. I have to go back to work next Monday, March 3rd. I dread it! I only go back until April 30th and only 20 hours a week with Wednesdays off, but still! I am still nursing Addie so I am going to come home at lunch and nurse her, since work is only 5 minutes away, so she shouldn't ever even have to take a bottle. So hopefully it won't be too bad since I'll only be away 5 hours a day for 4 days a week. First American is now RBC Centura so lots of changes will be going on, and with rates so low, our department is swamped, yuck.
Addie likes to wake up Daddy in the mornings! I put her on him and she pulls his hair and kicks her little feet and and coos at him until he finally turns over and starts talking with her. I got some cute pictures today of it.
If anyone has suggestions for helping Addie's tummy let me know! She does seem to feel momentarily better when I put pressure on it, and the bath calms her down too while she's in it. This is the pits!

I went thru something similar with Noah and it turned out to be acid reflux. We got a prescription for Baby Zantac and that help so much. We also had to put him to sleep in his carseat for several months. It kept him elevated a little which helped as well.
Ouch!! I know you'll be like who am I?? I grew upwith Jarom and Carly and have been in childcare for almost 12 years and nanny for 5 so I've pretty much seen it all and been to every baby doctor known to man. First I'd say be careful with the gas drops. If she has stomach issues they can make the gas into one huge bubble which will make it hurt and hard to pass. I do agree it could be acid reflux if she's spitting up or making gagging sounds butt be careful b/c its so over prescribed every baby has reflux haha. I would do tummy massage and a Chiro can show you to follow her intestine to help push out gas or BMs. You sound like you rub her tummy already. If you are trying to prevent mess with the blowouts I would recommend cloth diapers. They hold yucky poop with no leaks like sposies. And you just throw em in your washer. I'm so sorry she's having trouble. Good luck I hope you get it resolved fast. Well I got a fussy baby g2g.
No help here, sorry! Kenaadie did her first blow-out poop on me today, and I was probably a lot more pleased than you are with Addie's!
I love her little eye rubs. Avery does that when she wakes up and I love it. I love how their little arms barely make it to the top of their head. It is sooo cute!
Your collage is lovely. Beth you do such a wonderful job....but of course you're going to tell me its so easy as you have such beautiful subjects. :) Right!!
