30 weeks and no belly button...

I am now 30 weeks pregnant and I have lost my belly button. It didn't pop out, it just flattened out until it is no more.... It is the weirdest looking thing! Sometimes it comes back for a little bit if Addie is moved a certain way but for the most part, it looks like this. Tuesday we go for our 4D ultrasound and I'll be sure to post pictures if I can figure out how to. I think they give you a CD of pictures, but we'll see. We are excited to see our little girl! Since Jarom got his new video game there has been much lounging and playing while I read or play around on the computer. Not too many exciting things are going on with Jarom and me, we are usually to tired to do much, and even the dogs get bored with us. Isn't that pathetic?

Stupid Video Game!

Jarom playing his new Halo III game...
Oh how I love my dear husband but how I hate his love for video games, namely Halo... Upon returning from work today he announces that he HAS to go get the new Halo III once it came out at 12:00 AM... I being the wonderful wife I am finally agree he can be the nerd he is and get it. So we work on the house on Queens, then I crash on the couch. He wakes me up at 11:45 pm to leave and off we head to Walmart. Apparently he wasn't the only goofy person to "need" the game this late at night and then he had to fuel up on the absolute largest sub that Walmart has.... Please now note the time... Little Addie is kicking around trying to figure out why Mommy is up at this hour and eating sandwiches and drinking root beer... I am wide awake and it is now 1:25 AM... I must be as insane as my sweet husband.

29 Weeks and Such...

Jarom and Ana...

And I wonder why all of my clothes ended up with white fur all over them... This is an example of what Jarom does when he is bored. If our children are anything like him, I am doomed! Mind you Ana is at least 90 pounds.

On another note, my ankles have finally returned and I am SO excited! I know they won't stay for long, but it is nice to see at least one skinny part on my body every once and a while. We are now at 29 weeks, and so hopefully only about 9 more weeks to go if Dr. Nix induces! Little Addie kicks all day long and pitched a temper tantrum during sacrament today. I made Jarom feel her and she was going to town kicking me in the ribs. I am outgrowing my maternity dresses that I bought... Jarom laughs because my dresses are shorter in the front than in the back due to the large belly... Not a good sign.

I got into the holiday/fall mood Friday and had the bright idea of doing what my family always does in the fall and open my windows during the day/night. Well as I am lying awake at 3 am with sweat dripping off of me I decide that it obviously isn't cool enough outside yet and how stupid of an idea it was. I am ready for the cool weather and good food, but not ready to see the green leave yet. Fall is my favorite season by far and I look forward to the hot chocolate, pumpkin bread, spices, orange leaves, and cool crisp mornings that will come with it. Now if only the weather will do what it is supposed to!

How could I forget my camera?!

So as we are at the airport waiting for our flight to depart to Tulsa I realize that I forgot my camera! Gasp I know... So I have ZERO pictures from our trip, so I am counting on you Lacey and family to upload the pics taken to the Walmart page so I can get them too. We returned from Tulsa yesterday afternoon and took a 5 hour nap and then went to bed a few hours later and slept another 6 1/2 hours.... I guess we were worn out! We had a good time in Tulsa visiting the family and had lots of fun at the BYU game, ate yummy Mexican food at Abuelo's, and enjoyed seeing the sites. It was so good to see the family, we have missed you all so! Well it is extremely late, so bedtime and I'll try to post more later.

Reality sets in...

Jarom and I are realizing that our lives as we know it are about to change. In probably 12 weeks or so we will have an addition to our family and are we ready yet? Well ready or not, she is on her way!

We stay busy at our investment house on Queens and have been spending pretty much every evening over there painting, putting down hardwood, etc. Once we get a little further along I will have to post some pictures for everyone to see. We have the cabinets set and some floors done and most of the painting is done and it looks great! So if you know anyone who wants a 4 BR, 2 BA large home in South Huntsville, we have a great one!

Jarom is laughing at me because I am sitting in bed with the laptop on my lap and a bowl of ice cream and brownies resting atop my large belly. Yes its gross, and I do realize it is almost 10 pm and I shouldn't be eating this, but how can I resist? I can definitely not keep this up after Addie gets here or I will weigh 400 pounds.

We leave for Tulsa Friday afternoon and will be there until Monday visiting the family out there. It will be great to see everyone.

27 Weeks and Counting

Ok, so I finally gave in and made Jarom and me our own page. I planned on starting one once Addie makes her way here, but then figured I probably won't have all that much time to do so once she is here. I am 27 weeks today and feel like I weigh 500 pounds. I cease to have ankles, Jarom now calls them cankles and my feet barely fit in even my flip flops they are so swollen. We have been laying hardwood this past week (well I just arrange it, Dad and Jarom lay it) and my legs are so sore I can barely walk, then add in my huge belly and its not a good combo... But despite all of this, I still have had a very easy pregnancy and still need more time before Addie gets here. (We haven't even started on her room) My sister and I went to Costco and the mall today and even the old ladies were passing us as we walked. Jarom and I will make our way out to Tulsa to visit the family on Friday this week and we will go to the BYU game on Saturday. Jarom is very excited about the game and is watching BYU v UCLA right now. We can't wait to see the new Haynie home and city. I especially can't wait to try concretes... Well thats all for now, Jarom and I are going to watch a movie together.
