Surgery

I had a D&C today at the hospital. It was my first ever surgery... I had never been put to sleep so I didn't know what to expect. It all went well, I'm not bleeding nearly as much and feel better emotionally. I know everything happens for a reason and I'm thankful for the gospel and the knowledge it provides me. I look forward to the day that I can meet that sweet little spirit. I love my family and friends and I'm thankful for the support they have given me during this difficult time. I'm especially thankful for Jarom, Mom, Dad, Katie, and Victoria for watching Addie, picking up some groceries for us, and being with me. I still don't feel like discussing the details, it makes me too sad, but just know we will be fine and we appreciate your prayers on our behalf.

Bad Day.

I had a miscarriage today, but I don't feel like talking to anyone about it. I started bleeding this morning, so I went in and was sent for an ultrasound which confirmed it.

Vanessa & Trevor

Yesterday I had the opportunity to take some pictures for my friend Vanessa and her little stud Trevor! I brought Addie and she did a great job at making Trevor laugh! She kept throwing leaves and he thought it was fabulous. He has such an infectious laugh! Here's some of my favorites...

Trip to Tate Farms

We realized the week before Halloween that it was Jarom's last day off that we'd have a chance to go to the pumpkin patch, so we made a quick trip to Tate's. Addie loved it for about an hour, then once she got her pumpkin slushie, she was ready for a nap. I couldn't believe how much Addie loved the hay maze. She ran through the whole thing, leading the way. She was pretty good at it! Addie loved the bunnies of course.

I asked someone to take a picture of us... this was the best he got. Oh well. Addie refused to give up the pumpkin slushie. She LOVED it. Next year we'll know to get her her own.
Ready for a nap. P.S. I am now caught up on pictures! WOOHOO! Good thing too, because this week I start taking Christmas card pictures for some of my favorite people!

Catch Up Pictures

Be prepared... tons of pictures ahead! In September, Mom, Katie, Addie, and I took a trip to Scott's Apple Orchard to pick up some apples, apple cider, and apple slushies. They still had a few watermelons, which really excited Addie.

I had visions of gorgeous apple pictures with Addie, but she was not liking the long grass and mushy ground from all of the rain.
The next week we headed out to Moulton for some ring shopping. Our 5 year anniversary is coming up this month and Jarom promised me a new wedding set. So we heard about Billy Mitchell Jewelry and took the long trip. I found the perfect set, but they couldn't get it sized before we left, so Katie, Addie, and I headed back out there the next day to pick it up! I made Addie this dress, hoping the weather would comply, because the property around the store was gorgeous. It poured all day, but was just misting when we got these few pictures.

The first weekend in October was the Madison Street Festival. Jarom was off work from his surgery and was getting stir crazy, so we walked around for a little bit, but were unable to navigate around the kids area without Addie seeing. We bought some tickets and Addie loved the huge slide (so we did it 4 times)! I actually enjoyed it too!

Addie wouldn't sit still long enough for me to get a good picture at this spot. Again visions of cute pictures with her blue bow and the blue wall, but it didn't happen. Oh well.
That next Monday we headed out to Decatur on Jarom's day off to visit an art gallery. Turns out they were closed, so we stopped in at Mooresville on the way home to let Addie run around some. Mooresville is gorgeous!

And finally! We went back out to Decatur the next week to visit the art gallery for Jarom's class. Sam was staying with us while he was in town, so he tagged along. Addie loves to hide, so she ran ahead with Daddy and hid while I "looked" for her. She gets so tickled when I find her. So that almost catches us completely up. Yep... that's right... almost. I still have Tate Farm pictures to work on.

The Lee's...finally!

So I am a terribly bad friend... I took these pictures for the Lee's almost a month ago and have been so busy the last few weeks that I hadn't had a chance to even go through them. So sorry! I love this family! Addie and Maclane play so good together. Enjoy!
