Our little princess is now 7 weeks old! It has been the best 7 weeks of my life minus the week I had the stomach virus. Addie now weighs 9.8 pounds and is growing like a weed! It makes me so sad to look back at her first few pictures because she's already changed so much and my little girl won't be my itty bitty for long. However every day her little personality shines through more and she enjoys playing even more. I cherish every moment with her.
Look at that little bum!

Jarom and I could not have picked a more perfect baby. She is just like I would have ordered her if I could, with perfect little features and a sweet little personality. I love everything about her, from her little toes to her sweet chicken hair (that is growing so long!)
Addie is such a good baby! She is so happy and content! She only cries to let me know she needs something and has a short little fussy period at night each evening but that is quickly ended with the pacifier. She refused the paci until she was 5 weeks, but now it is her friend. She and I are settling into a groove and love to cuddle in bed in the mornings while we watch the Today show. She loves her baths like cousin Avery! The sponge bath at the hospital made her so upset she screamed until she was purple, but once she got a real bath she immediately fell in love. She loves the warm water and just looks all around, taking it all in, and hates to get out of the water when we're done.
The day Addie turned 6 weeks she slept that night almost 7 hours straight and since then we get at least 5 uninterrupted hours during the night and then some after that. Last night was 7 hours... she stirred at 5 hours but I pulled her into the bed with me and she quickly drifted back to sleep.

Addie loves to be talked to and paid attention to. She just eats up attention and coos and grunts at you while you chat. When I first start talking to her she raises her little eyebrows and looks at me with big wide eyes and I can't help but burst out laughing because its like she's thinking "you are nuts mom!" She does the same wide eyed, eyebrows up when she first starts nursing and its like she's thinking "oooh, yay! lunch is served!"
Great Grandma
Mimmie and Addie

I am amazed at the love I have for this little life. I never understood how much you could love a little one, and having Addie has made me love Jarom in a whole new way and has greatened my love for my mother and father. I realize now why my parents did some of the things they did and now understand how much they love me. There is nothing like it and I wouldn't trade it for the world. I love you Addison Haynie!
