Last Tuesday was our ward temple night. I've been trying to find a picture of the Birmingham temple for a wall in our living room, and have not found anything I liked, so I thought I'd go and try to get some pictures. Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate and it was too overcast, so we plan on making a stop on our way down to Birmingham tomorrow to catch our flight to Dallas. I'm praying for blue skies!!!

Addie and I stayed outside, she explored everything while I took pictures and Jarom helped with the youth. We had lots of fun! (Oh and she found a new
Tomorrow we leave for Dallas and will get home LATE Thursday night. I'm excited to see a new city, but will have a lot of time with just me and Addie so if you have any suggestions of things to do, let me know! We are probably going to visit the zoo and the galleria.

Overcast, schmovercast! I think they look great! How did you get so good at taking pictures? Seriously...I want to know.
BETH!!! I was there and saw those overcast skies. You really are magic with a camera! Those turned out great. I don't see them getting that much better with sun but that's just me. They look great. Really!
Those are beautiful! I love the first one! Good job Beth!
I think your pictures are very worth putting in a frame and hanging in the Living Room! Addie is quite happy with her pencil find...so sad that the court date is Wednesday and we can't visit in Dallas...it would have been a blast.
I like the last picture.
Dallas is MY city. I lived there six years. The Galleria is amazing for shopping. It has a play center in it and also a puppet store where they put on puppet shows! I recommend the fort worth zoo more than the Dallas zoo if you want to drive just a bit. It's great. But if not Dallas zoo is fine.
Also for Addie the Wiggles play center in Frisco is so fun for little kids. Its the only play center in the US. She'd love it. I love the Sixth Floor Museum but it's quiet and not really kid friendly. But you could walk outside and see where JFK is shot and see Daley plaza. If you need anymore ideas let me know! I'm jealous!
Oohh the pics look GREAT!!! Love the one with the red leaves.. and the black and white one of the entire building.. very very good!!!
I, too, really like the shot through the red leaves and I like the last shot of the temple as well. I think in the 1st shot the skies look scary yet beautiful. It is kind of what comes to mind when I think of the trumpet REALLY being sounded. Scary but wonderful at the same time.
Really beautiful, Beth!
SO good!
My fave is the top one with the red leaves a close second.
Have a great, safe trip!
I LOVE the third one! All of them are good though, I like the overcast skies. Good job!
You did a great job on these Beth. I love them all!!
I am so sad we couldn't meet up in Dallas. :( Hopefully next time. I seriously WANT all those pictures...they are amazing! Will you put them on dad's web thing? I absolutely love them! Especially the tulips..awesome!
I just came over from SSB. Your pictures are amazing of the temple. Do you sell them? It would be nice to have a more contemporary picture of the temple in our home. I love the cloud one. Do you live in Dallas? We are going to be there this summer for a few months...
haha.. so I think it's funny that you think your pictures aren't any good and someone just commented asking if you sell them!! They are great! Alisha also has some great pictures of the temple that she took!
