Whew, time flies! I started back to work Monday and needless to say I am miserable! I hate being away from my baby girl, especially during those precious morning hours when she is at her best. Even though I don't go in until 10, I have to spend my morning getting ready for work and getting Addie ready for Grandma's. I am counting down, 32 more days that I have to go in, or 160 hours. I know Addie is being taken care of by the best, but it doesn't make it any easier on me being away from her.Hot momma Monday was too hectic for me to post, but last week I lost....... 2 POUNDS, WOOHOO!!!!! Then I weighed myself Tuesday and I had lost another pound, for a grand total of 3 pounds! YAY! I keep exercising, but I am limiting my sweets. This is extremely difficult considering I feel I need a dessert after every meal and then dessert snacks after each meal and before bed..... I know, that is horrible, but I've got to keep it real yo... (been watching WAY too much American Idol). So, today I had 2 oatmeal cream pies and one pack of scooby gummy snacks... yes I blew it today but there's always tomorrow. Mom continues to be my walking partner, without her I'd probably just sit on my caboose all day.
Today we got Addie's 3 month pictures made at Gil Brady Photography. He is an amazing photographer and is very popular here in Huntsvegas. We had a 2 hour session with him and Addie was just too sweet for the first hour, then fell asleep within 3 seconds of a paci and we got some really sweet sleep shots, and then when she woke up we got some Mommy and Addie shots. I had her in her blessing dress and me in a white gown and we both had our pearls from Daddy. I can't wait for the proofs! Gil has this neat program "the Brady baby Bunch" and you get 3,6,9, & 12 month pictures at a really good price. The only problem is that he's such a good photographer you want to buy everything and I just don't have thousands of dollars lying around to buy them all!
she was in such a sweet mood here

Addie continues to have tons of gas problems... I have been giving her Mylanta but she still is fussy. Not screaming and crying all day anymore but still sort of fussy. Mylicon only makes matters worse. I don't know what to do. I am watching what I eat and am clueless as to what is causing it. The doctor says nothing is wrong but I don't believe them. I still get tons of smiles, coos, and cheeses, but then her little tummy starts hurting and she arches her back and straightens those legs and cries. I feel so bad for her! I wonder if switching to formula would help, but that is something I really don't want to do unless I have to. So the question is, what is troubling her tummy?

My goodness your baby is SO cute! I feel bad for her little tummy :( But congrats on the 3 pounds! I can't believe u guys walk 4 miles all the time, wow! thats really impressive. I sit on my butt 8 hours a day 5 days a week at my job haha...it's hard to be active these days!!
My doctor said that being fussy makes them gassy and so it is this cycle of gassy fussiness. Boo. Avery always has gas, but I don't think it hurts her. Michael and I think it is so funny when we go to bed at night because anytime Avery stirs she toots. Haha. It is great.
She's so precious! I know it must be so hard for you going to work! I had originally planned going back to work just PRN after my maternity leave, but at the time, Taylor was just too little, and I just couldn't do it. I think now I might could handle going to work like one day a week or something. I constantly struggle with should I or shouldn't I. I would like to keep up my nursing skills and knowledge, but at the same time, I just don't want to miss out on my little baby growing up!
oh and congrats on the weight loss!!
She is too cute. I can't wait to see those proofs. I feel ya on the work...I hate it too and it will really be hard when the new one is here.

Way to go on the 3lbs! That is so great!
I really love that 1st pic of Addie. She is too cute.
That's awesome that you and your Mom are walking buddies! and it must be horrible to have to see addy suffering from a rummbling tummy... and as far as the breastfeeding, the la leche league has a 24 hour hotline you can call... sometimes you have to leave a messsage :P but it couldn't hurt to talk to someone who hears about breastfeeding issues from mommy side or baby side :)
