March was a super busy month!!!
I also cut my hair in March. It had gotten REALLY long and I cut about 8" off of it! It is now much healthier!
Livy started sitting up for longer periods by the end of March and started feeding herself banana puffs! She was so proud of herself for getting the food in her mouth and really was happy to have something that wasn't pureed! 
In March Livy still didn't have a single tooth yet, but loved food! Livy also started to pitch a fit when you took things away from her, but overall she's my happy chubby baby and I love her to pieces!!!
We celebrated Jarom's 28th birthday March 11th with a party at home. I try to make each birthday special so this is what he woke up to.
I made him chocolate chip muffins as a treat for breakfast (I think it's pure junk and have refused to make that "dessert" for breakfast for all of our married life until this birthday, lol!) Per his request we had BBQ baked chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, and ice cream cake. Easy meal!! 
It was a fun laid back evening but was just what Jarom wanted. 
The next day Addie ate her lunch in princess attire... hah!
Then it was crunch time to get my house put together! I hosted Bunco at my house in March and wanted to tie up all the "loose ends" at the house since our remodel last fall. I spent the third week of March in crazy mode and was up the night before Bunco until 5 AM refinishing the table that I boogered up the first time the day before. Bunco was fun and now I love my house! But we are looking at downsizing because we never use our upstairs... or maybe we just enjoy torturing ourselves with moves... who knows. :)
On March 1st Livy started to sit up on her own (5 1/2 months)! It was an exciting day! After falling over a few times she decided she didn't like to sit up anymore and refused to for a few weeks until she realized it wasn't so bad after all at 6 months. She's been a pro since!
Livy has a new "game" where as soon as you sit her in the bouncer she kicks her feet until she ends up like this...
I sat her back up and buckled her in and after a kick didn't move her she knew she was caught, LOL!
On March 2nd I got the go ahead from our doctor to start real baby food! Livy turned 5 months on February 22nd, and was grabbing food off our plates. She is so interested in eating what we do! So I purchased a baby food maker that steams and then purees the food and started making her dinner each night. Her first food I made her was green beans and she was surprised by the texture of the green beans (they don't puree totally smooth) but she quickly got over it and gobbled it up. After a few bites she needed to "feed" herself and yanked the spoon from me.
Since then she's eaten some of everything. She LOVES everything I make her and I've had yet to feed her something I made that she didn't devour. Butternut squash, carrots, green beans, avacados, peas, spinach, pears, apples, bananas, etc. I've made all of her baby food from scratch and froze it. During April out of necessity when we were in New Mexico I bought a jar of organic green beans and she refused to eat it. I thought maybe it was due to her being sick and tried another jar at home a week ago and she still didn't want it! Food snob!

We took a little trip to Anniston, AL and Atlanta, GA the second week of March. Jarom had cabinet training for work so we tagged along and spent the days shopping and having fun. Jarom's boss's wife came along with her two kids so we all went to Atlanta to the Aquarium, to dinner at the Cheesecake Factory, and for some shopping. If you ever go to Cheesecake Factory you have to try the wild blueberry white chocolate cheesecake. It was DIVINE. We had a great trip and I got lots of fun things for my home! Livy also slept with me for the first time on the trip since we had 2 double beds in our room and she slept like a rock, even when she unswaddled herself. It put her into a good routine for sleeping and she did pretty well until she got sick in New Mexico and then was a terror at night!

On the 22nd of March my baby girl turned 6 months old!!! Where the heck did the time go? For Livy's six month birthday I thought it'd be fun to go get some pictures of Livy and Addie so at the spur of the moment I set up an appointment for that afternoon. Wouldn't you know that moments after I got off the phone Livy catapulted herself off Addie's toddler bed and gave herself a fat lip. I had laid her down on the bed against the back of it and walked across the room to get something for Addie. I turned around a second later to see Livy head first going off the bed! She somehow turned herself around and pushed off the bed in seconds! This is when I realized I had my hands full with this little one. Haha! She was fine, but you can see the mark in the pictures despite my efforts to cover it up with concealer... sigh. 
Livy's newly found scooting also found her under the couch.
I reached my pre-pregnancy weight at the end of March! I finally fit into the clothes that have been sitting in my closet and I am so excited to finally shed the last of the baby weight! I've got more weight to lose, but counting calories is definitely the way to go!
Friday March 25th I got an hour long massage at Terrame spa using the gift card Jarom gave me for my birthday LAST year. That evening we had a dinner out with all of our friends to celebrate Jarom, John, and Ron's birthdays and it ended up being a disaster with wrong orders, LONG wait, and melting down kiddos. Remind us to never try to go out with 3 babies, 2 toddlers, and 7 adults ever again on a Friday night. BAD idea! Oh well.
While we were out to dinner that night, we got a text informing us that Jarom's sweet Gramps, Edsel Haynie was very sick and probably only had about 6 months to live. At the time we didn't realize that really he had only a few days. More on that next. :(

I reached my pre-pregnancy weight at the end of March! I finally fit into the clothes that have been sitting in my closet and I am so excited to finally shed the last of the baby weight! I've got more weight to lose, but counting calories is definitely the way to go!
