Beach Trip Part 2

Here are the last of the beach pictures... minus family pictures.

I forgot to mention we spent the previous evening at Pier Park (a bridge street type place). We had a Caesar salad (one of Addie's favorite things), pizza, and gelato at the Red Brick Pizza Oven. It was so good! They let Addie taste test every flavor of gelato (they only had about 6) and she didn't pick any of the "kid" ones that they said she'd love, she chose hazelnut chocolate... which turned out to be my favorite too. Addie makes me laugh with her "adult" taste buds.

I love her sassy little pose in this one! I haven't been putting Addie's hair up in pony tails to keep her hair from breaking off, but at the beach she insisted on having her hair up just like mine and now anytime my hair is up, she "needs" hers up too.
Building sandcastles She didn't like having messy hands and would go "wash them" in the ocean every few minutes.
Addie and Daddy going to play in the water
It was still REALLY hot that next day.
We played all day and then went to Pineapple Willy's that night. We ate on the pier and Addie thought it was too fun to eat. We finished off the evening by swimming in the indoor/outdoor pool where Addie loved jumping off the side into our arms... over and over and over again.

The last day that we were there we headed down to the beach after breakfast and the dark clouds rolled in less than 10 minutes later so we headed back up. It rained all day until about 4 pm. We hurried down as soon as the dark clouds were past and played as much as we could before dark.
Addie's gear she'd haul back and forth to the beach each day. I was proud of her for carrying most of her stuff!

It was such a great trip! Up next our family pictures.
