So NOT her day...

Yesterday was really not Addie's day. It was Jarom's day off so it was a full day including 4 baths for Addie...

1. We all got showers/Addie a bath...so far so good.
2. Breakfast-Lemon Poppy seed muffins- super big crumb mess, but solved by wipes and a good wash of hands.
3. Addie steps in dog poop outside... NASTY!!! Thank heavens she had on flip flops so I was able to wash them easily!
4. I dump a strawberry banana milkshake from lunch on Addie's head. Bath #2 follows.
(I was carrying in armfuls of stuff and had the shake balanced on top. Addie tripped me up and down everything came... pink goo dripping from her hair all over her face, clothes, etc. -and all before I even got a taste of it!)
5. Addie gets hit with our metal patio chair, knocking her into a huge mud puddle. Bath #3 follows.
(Jarom and Bob were quickly moving patio furniture into the yard to pressure wash when Addie got behind Bob. He turned without looking with our metal chair and hit Addie with it. I think he felt worse than she did about the whole thing! She needed Mom loves so I scooped her up in my white shirt and lighter colored jeans (covering myself in mud.))
6. Addie gets dirty again outside... not really sure how, but fell asleep on me before I could change her clothes, but then I (obviously not thinking) gave her a pbj sandwich on the way home from church and the child was covered in strawberry jelly by the time we made it home. She HAD to have me carry her into the house so I too got strawberry on my new clean white shirt. I was so over baths by this point I stripped her down and washed her in the kitchen sink. 4TH BATH!

It took me over an hour to get all of the stains out of our clothes from just yesterday!!
