A mouthful at 21 months

Addie after a month of runny nose has finally cut 3 of her 4 "2 year" molars just as she turned 21 months old. I noticed the top two last Thursday and her bottom left came through yesterday. The bottom right is almost through. Poor little gal, no wonder she hasn't wanted her teeth brushed lately! We've been lucky so far with no ear infections this time . Every tooth she cut before these came along with double ear infections...

my little angelHere are pictures from before her hair cut a few weeks ago. She pointed to the sign above her changing table after her bath, so I told her it said Addie and she got really excited.

This picture reminds me so much of a picture of Mom when she was in Kindergarten I believe... I'll have to have her dig it out so I can post it.

Addie LOVES to have her toes painted and talks about them for days after. According to her (and I must agree) "toes pretty!" and she tells EVERYONE!

Addie has been talking up a storm lately. She is talking all of our ears off. I really don't know where she gets it from... :P

She tells me exactly what she wants to eat, wants to do, has done, points out every buggy outside and freaks with excitement if one makes it indoors and tries to smash it.

Addie picks up new words every day. Today she told me she wanted to eat cheese and pitta (pizza) and ate 2 whole slices of cold pizza (she didn't want me to warm them) and a slice of cheese... I guess her appetite has finally come back!

She asks to go to the park and to see moobies (movies) all the time, and asks for Daddy, Gampa, Gamma, and Kayke (Katie) every day when she wakes up. She still remembers Nuna and Papa visiting and whenever we go to Alisha's house, she gets excited thinking Nuna and Papa are there too and calls for them.

Addie tells Jarom secrets in his ears all the time and refuses to tell me any. She loves to hide and asks us to hide her constantly so we build her forts out of pillows. She covers me with kisses all over my face when she wants me to play with her or is trying to get my attention.

Mimmie dressed Addie a baby doll and got a bed for the baby last week, and Addie plays with her baby everyday. She strips the baby down and I have found the baby laying across our open toilet (going potty obviously). She tucks the baby in every night and gives her sugars and wakes her up each morning. She tries to feed the baby her food and drinks, and I am desperately trying to teach her to pretend to feed as I scrub the baby constantly.

Addie is very independent and insists on doing everything by herself (eating sloppy foods, climbing stairs, going down slides, putting on panties-which never turns out the right way, putting on her shoes, brushing her teeth, etc). It is bittersweet to see her grow up, but I love that she still wants me when she has a booboo, is tired, wants to play, or just wants to cuddle.

Time to go to sleep, I went through about 500 more beach pictures tonight and edited the ones I loved, but still have to get them uploaded to photobucket before I can post them all, so be prepared for more monster posts!
