AHHH!!!!

I am pretty sure I just woke up the entire neighborhood. I went to take my recycle bin out to the road (it runs at 6 AM!) and realized on the way back into the house that I didn't check my mail today. I reach into the mailbox that is above my eye level and my hand lands on something warm and soft that squirms away from me... I screamed bloody murder and Jarom came running outside, thinking I was being abducted or something. After he realized I was fine, he took a broom and opened the mailbox and a little bird flew out! What the heck?! Somehow the little bird got in our mailbox and the lid shut on it and I must have woken it up.

Whew, talk about jump starting my heart!

HA, HA, HA, Oh Beth, that reminds me when I was first married. We lived at Toll Gate Apartments, and Don was upstairs and I was down stairs cleaning up breakfast when I looked down and saw a big spider crawling up my chest. I screamed so loud (as I brushed the spider off) that Don came running down the stairs foaming at the mouth (toothpaste)to rescued me! I was sitting on the counter as he got rid of the spider... :0

Our neighbor boy reached into the chicken nesting boxes to gather eggs one morning... he was shorter than the boxes and couldn't look inside before gathering... and grabbed a huge snake. He screamed like a girl... his older sister came out, calmly removed the snake and shot it, eegads, it was poisonous. I probably would have had a heartattack!

How funny! Just today a hummingbird got stuck in our garage somehow and I kept telling the boys to get in the car, but they wouldn't because they said there was a giant mosquetto (sp?) in the garage! I laughed when I saw what it was, but to just reach in and grab something like that....ewww! I would have screamed too!

Ok, so I thought it was going to be like the bug in my shower and I was screaming for you! Glad it was just a little bird!
