Addie's First Haircut-August 8th, 2009

So I am behind at posting, but I spent 7 nights at the beach... heaven.

The Saturday before we left I got Addie and I both an appointment with Lynne, my hairdresser that has been out with a broken wrist for a few months... I was in desperate need of a trim! I got my hair cut and then Mom brought Addie over for her first cut. Addie wasn't so sure about getting up in the chair, but after Lynne let her hold a brush, she was fine. Addie was loving that her little cape had fish all over it. Lynne uses this new french technique where she has you stand to cut your hair. It apparently helps so that you don't overcut the hair. (Oh and the long hair on the floor is mine... I had a ton cut off, I didn't realize how long my hair had gotten!)Addie preening while Lynne goes to get her a prize for doing so well. She ended up having about an inch cut off because I didn't want it too short, so she'll need another trim to get rid of all of the finer baby hair, but it still turned out much cuter!

Stay tuned for beach pictures so you can see some of her cute new do!
