The next morning we went to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple Open House. I was shocked at how close all of the temples and church building are in Utah! It's a gorgeous temple and after we went to Magleby's for lunch. We headed back for a nap then visited Aunt Susan and her family, then out to dinner at Cracker Barrel.
Poor Addie had only had about 7 hours of sleep the night before with pretty much no nap the day before so she was not happy to be at the Temple...
The whole gang, Susan and her kids, Grandma and Grandpa Brimhall, and all of the Haynie's

We went shopping the next day and I got Addie lots of church books, a church movie, and me some wondertees. We got lunch from a really good hamburger place called Chadders or Cheddars... I'm not sure. Anyways, after we went to the park and ate and fed ducks and then headed back for naps. Once the kids woke up they played outside together and Carly made homemade pizza...mmm! That night once the kids were all asleep, Lexi stayed at the apartment and the rest of us went to Red Mango for frozen yogurt. It was so yummy! Oh my gosh, why don't we have anywhere like that here? And it had barely any calories AND was fat free... I am trying to talk Jarom into opening a franchise here. :)

Saturday morning we went to Grandma and Grandpa Brimhalls for brunch and then off to the BYU bookstore for more shopping. We came back, got the kids down for naps then the adults went to PF Changs for dinner. We had a great time at dinner and I got to meet most of the family for the first time. The food was really good and our table did it family style so we all got to try a little of everything, but I was worried about Addie the whole time. She never has stayed with anyone but my mom, sister, or my best friend Ashley who she sees all the time, so I knew she'd not do well since I wasn't there and she wasn't in a familiar place. I was right and Abby said she cried the whole time...sorry Abby! Addie was very glad to see me when we got back and stayed glued to me that evening. We visited Scott and Becca that night and Addie LOVED the cats and bird! She was so excited that the cats would let her pet them because my Uncle Bob's cat doesn't like her to. Sadly I didn't remember to grab my camera that day so I'll have to get Lacey to send me the pictures from dinner.
The next morning was church where Carly and Mike both had to give talks, and did a great job. We got back to their apartment and were locked out so Mike had to break into a second story window to get us in. We ate lunch/dinner at Grandma and Grandpa Brimhall's then headed out to Covered Bridge Canyon so I could see their old home. It was gorgeous! I am so used to all of the green in Alabama, Utah was a real shock for me, but the Canyon home was surrounded by green and was so pretty out there. We came back to Spanish Fork where Grandma and Grandpa Brimhall live and had cake and ice cream to celebrate Mike's and my birthday.

On the way to the canyon we saw these... cool huh?
This was the only picture I had of us celebrating birthdays... not the best!

So this post is now extremely long, so I'll reserve the last morning full of pictures for another post!
