Addie is a tub pooper. She does it at least 3 times a week. I have tried everything!!! I pull her out, sit her on the toilet until she screams bloody murder, I have changed the time of her bath to accommodate her ritual poop time, I have changed her from the sink to the bathtub, I have scolded her, I've ignored the obvious no no and just cleaned it up, I wait until she's pooped before I put her in, I've done EVERYTHING!
So I turn to the Internet for help. And there is NOTHING that I haven't tried. Please tell me someone else has had this problem? What did you DO?
The only consolation I have was that while searching the web, I came across this video. I don't know if it was just hilarious to me because of my situation, but I laughed so hard, I had tears streaming down my face.

Horrible memories!!! I experienced this with one of my sons, I'll try to be discreet. This is the only thing that worked for me... please don't think me harsh. But I drained the water, cleaned the mess, and took him and put his tiny hiney under the cold faucet to finish bathing him. He hated it, of course!! I told him NO MORE poo-poo in the bathwater. I only had to do this TWICE and it ended. He pood in the bath water for almost 13 months, I tried everything I could think of with no success. Cold water is miserable and worked! And a side note, when this precious son was potty-training, he kept pooping in his pants when he was playing and did not want to stop to come in and go to the bathroom. I told him ONCE, that I would put his bummy under the cold faucet if he did not make it to the toilet next time he needed to poo... he never pood in his undies again either. Good Luck!!

My bit of advice is that she won't go off to college pooping in the tub...this to will pass. (okay maybe not as soon as you would like--but it will)
Please No! It's too tramatic! I can't live it all over again!! teehee I think I had a mental block about it for I had not remembered it until I read your blog!! ha ha, so at least it will be a faint memory when you are my age!

I second Dawn's suggestion - that cold water will nip it in the bud! Just be strong - you can do it!
haha.. that video was hilarious! I can't be of much help though. Taylor has been pretty good and has only pooped in the tub once or twice.
We have been lucky because Avery has only done this like 5 times so far. And I am lucky because she has only done it once when Mike wasn't here (he is the tub pooper scooper).
Oh and my sister-in-law would hose of her son when he would poop in his pants and he stopped after having to be hosed twice... haha. Poor kiddos.
